Our Journey For Impact
Youth for Climate Morocco was born out of a shared passion for tackling climate change and a deep belief in the power of youth-led action. Established in 2021, our journey began with a handful of dedicated young individuals who saw the urgent need to address climate challenges in Morocco.
From its inception, Y4CM has grown from a small grassroots movement into a dynamic force for change. Our journey has been marked by numerous milestones, collaborations, and impactful initiatives that have inspired thousands of young people to join our cause.
Through tireless efforts, we've organized workshops, conducted awareness campaigns, and launched innovative projects that have not only educated but also empowered young individuals to take action. With in-depth technical knowledge and exceptional skills, Oumaima is dedicated to bringing positive change to Morocco. She is also interested in civic participation, youth empowerment, and political and economic inclusion of women.
As the head of our organization, Oumaima sets the strategic direction and ensures the sustainability of our work. Her journey in academia and civil society has enabled her to integrate easily into different communities, making her an effective leader. We are proud to have Oumaima leading us towards a better future.

As a responsible and dedicated Project Manager, Kenza is responsible for managing our organization's various programs and initiatives. Her expertise in journalism and human rights activism allows her to effectively communicate with stakeholders and advocate for positive change. In addition to her academic work, Assia has also worked as a consultant, speaker, trainer, and writer of articles, sharing her insights and expertise with a wide range of audiences. With over seven years of experience in social work, Assia brings a deep understanding of the challenges faced by communities and individuals, and is committed to using communication as a tool for positive change.
